Slow down, it’s a Sunday
What’s your typical Sunday? Mine is spending the whole day with the family. We normally go to church in the morning, and we do some fun activities after that. Fun activities are spent outside, either at the park, outdoor area of shopping malls, museum, amusement park, picnic, or events I encounter that maybe relevant to my daughter’s perception of “fun”.
Sunday is the best time we get the chance to be together as a family. My husband works half day on Saturdays, and if we happen to go out on Saturdays, it might not be as maximised as a Sunday.
There are days when we just want to stay at home. I would normally cook lunch and prepare snacks so everybody enjoys their stay at home. This is also the best time for me to focus on my do-it-yourself projects (which I am sharing in a couple of days).
Taking pictures is part of our Sunday. It has become a habit of ours to take photos just anywhere we are. Even our apartment lobby and parking area can’t seem to run away from our mini photo sessions. Haha!
My daughter is very familiar with our photo sessions. I have been taking her outfit of the day photos for more than a year (oh how time flies!), and she is as cooperative as ever. She has not really given us any difficulty because she would voluntarily give us her nicest smile every time we tell her that it’s time for a photo shoot.
Funny thing is that, she is into walls. I don’t think she has any idea on what the facade looks like, because all she cares about is she has to have a certain background (a wall in particular).
One more thing she enjoys doing is giving us kisses whenever we want to take photos of her. With all honesty, it melts my heart every time, because I know we are raising such a sweet little girl.
I am almost jealous that she looks fantastic in all the spontaneous shots! Mine has to be with so much effort, but hers looks too adorable. Haha!
I just want to seal this post with a kiss. =)
