Upcycled #1: Floral Skirt to Maxi Dress
I am just into repurposing lately. I am keeping a box with all my dresses and skirts that I have been ignoring. I initially thought of sending them to PH, but since I love doing crafts and sewing, I had to do something and make my clothes useful again. Who else will be beneficial for this? None other than my daughter, Antonia. Haha.
This used to be my mini skirt, but it just doesn’t look good on my small frame, and it has been sitting on my wardrobe for a while now. I thought it can be a great dress for Antonia. The pleats made it extra special and classy.
I had to make something out of this rarely used skirt and it I am so glad it turned out well.
I was not able to take a photo of myself wearing the skirt (ok, I totally forgot, and I am so sorry).
This is just the first of the many projects I am doing for my little miss.
Funny thing is that, every morning, she’s already used to my taking of her outfit of the day photos; she voluntarily walks out of the door and is always ready whenever I ask her to strike a pose. π
